Hansen Aviation is deeply rooted in coastal Georgia, fostering a love for aviation through educational outreach. We regularly host groups from local children's hospitals, scout troops, school field trips, and community organizations, offering hands-on experiences that inspire future aviators.

These events provide unique opportunities for community members to connect with the world of flight, experience our unblemished safety record firsthand, and see the dedication of our FAA-certified team.

Today, Hansen Aviation LLC hosted a truly inspiring "Kids in Aviation" Day right here at Midcoast Regional Airport. Flight instructors Mark Hansen and Shelli Clay opened their hearts and their hangar to provide complimentary Discovery Flights to a wonderful group of children with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and circumstances. Watching each of these young aviators climb into the cockpit with excitement, courage, and joy was nothing short of unforgettable. Events like this remind us why aviation has the power to uplift and inspire.
